Introducing our latest addition to the Northstar premium line of truck campers, “THE NIGHT HAWK” ! With a dry weight std. build of 2370 lbs., width of 7’6” and floor length of 8’ 9” this camper is designed to fit 3/4 ton and larger full size trucks with a standard short bed (6’4” to 6’10”) or long bed (8’). The extensive list of standard equipment includes but is not limited to: 10 Cubic Foot 12v Compressor Refrigerator, 400 Watts of Solar with a Blue Tooth controller, Glass Top sink, 2 Burner stove with folding Glass Top, Auto ignition water heater with bypass, Auto ignition 20K BTU furnace, Amplified TV antenna, Cabover insulated Heki vent, Fresh water tank cleaning port and insulated windows with screen and shade.
Spacious Design & Custom Options
The Night Hawk camper offers a larger, more versatile design to fit 3/4-ton or larger trucks with either a standard short bed (6’4″ to 6’10”) or a long bed (8′). With a floor length of 8’9″ and a width of 7’6″, it provides increased interior height, wider body space, and more storage.

“Wrap” is the terminology that we use at Northstar for the different side skirts to correctly fit the many truck bed lengths.
The camper can be ordered with different wraps to accommodate Std. Short Bed (6’4” to 6’10”) or Long Bed (8’) trucks.
a. Std. build with long side skirts and no doors or storage in those skirts. In this mode the camper will fit a std. short bed or a long bed.
b. With option #28 Detachable Wrap, meaning there would be lockable doors opening up to storage boxes in the side skirts. In this mode the camper will fit a std. short bed but the storage boxes could be removed in the future for the camper to fit a long bed. NOTE: As from Nov 5th 2024 all Night Hawks built with the detachable wrap option will have slots in those storage boxes for the truck tailgate to be left on in the down position if so desired.
c. With option #27 Permanent Wrap, meaning there would be lockable doors opening up to storage boxes in the side skirts the same as the Detachable Wrap option but the boxes would be non-removable so the camper will only ever fit a std. short bed truck. This option is required if ordering the camper with #29 Rear Storage Bumper.
If going on a Dually truck the camper will need to be built with short side skirts.
